Emily J. Pilcher
grew up in
Caldwell, Ohio
. She graduated from
Muskingum College
, m
agna cum laude
, in May 2001 receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. While an undergraduate, Ms. Pilcher served as student body president and sat as a voting member of the Muskingum College Board of Trustees.
In 2004, she received her Juris Doctor from The University of Toledo College of Law and was admitted to the Ohio Bar. While in law school, she served as secretary of the Student Bar Association and was a member of the Moot Court Team. In 2007, she was admitted to the Kentucky Bar.
Prior to joining VMJE&M, Ms. Pilcher served as Assistant Chief Legal Counsel to Ohio Auditors of State, Betty D. Montgomery and Mary Taylor, CPA.
She is currently a member of the Ohio,
Kentucky
and Boyd County Bar Associations.
