Sean M. Whitt has been in private practice since 1999 and has experience in trial, appellate and arbitration tribunals. Mr. Whitt received his B.B.A. Degree in Marketing at the University of Kentucky College of Business and Economics in 1994. While studying his undergraduate curriculum, he was a member of the Sigma Chi social fraternity, Lambda Lambda Chapter. In 1999, he received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Kentucky's College of Law. During law school, Mr. Whitt served as Oral Advocacy Chairperson for the UK Moot Court Team. He is currently a member of the Boyd County, Kentucky and American Bar Associations, Kentucky Defense Counsel, and Ashland Young Professionals Association. Additionally, he serves as the Seventh District Representative of the Young Lawyers' Section of the Kentucky Bar Associaition and is an original incorporator and officer of the Russell Independent Schools Endowment Foundation.
Mr. Whitt's areas of practice include civil litigation, insurance defense, construction law, hospital law and medical malpractice and occupational safety and health administrative matters for Kentucky employers.
