Lance E. McComis was born in Ashland, Kentucky, and graduated, magna cum laude, from Marshall University in 1995, receiving his Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in accounting. He received his JD degree with honors from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 1998. While in law school, he served as Administrative Editor of the Northern Kentucky Law Review and was a recipient of the Commonwealth Scholarship. He was admitted to the Kentucky Bar in 1998 and spent twelve years in the banking industry focusing on trust administration. He earned his designation as a Certified Retirement Plan Specialist in 2001.
Mr. McComis has served on the boards of the Kentucky Community & Technical College System Foundation, Area Education Grants and as an officer of the Greater Huntington Estate Planning Council and the Ashland Rotary Club. His primary areas of practice are trusts, estate planning, real estate and corporate law.
