Keri E. Lucas was born in Ashland, Kentucky. Ms. Lucas graduated from the University of Kentucky, Magna Cum Laude in May 2001, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Bachelor of Business Administration in Management. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Louisville, Brandeis School of Law in May, 2004 receiving her J.D. Degree. During law school, Ms. Lucas was the Managing Editor of the Brandeis Law Journal. Her student note, Women in the Judiciary: Kentucky's Need for Change was published in the Winter 2003/2004 issue of the Brandeis Law Journal.
Ms. Lucas is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky. She is a member of the Boyd County Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Her areas of practice include civil litigation, business litigation, insurance defense, and estates.
